Awakening your relationship with God

Holy Father thank you. Thank you for being available and interested always, for allowing us to come to you in prayer. To enter your presence with thanksgiving and praise, to seek your will, guidance, and grace. Father we hunger for relationship with you. Please show us Your character and Your love as we embark on this prayer journey. Please open our ears to hear You through faith and Your Word, help us to trust You in every aspect of our lives. Please open our hearts to love, understanding that You are love and love never fails. Please open our eyes to see, not through the blinders of the world but through the binoculars of Your heart. Unlock in us a faith that works by love.

Loving Father, please draw us closer to You, stirring in us the excitement and passion of getting to know you as we would a precious new relationship. Please create in our hearts the desire to spend every spare moment with you, like that of a young couple in love. Create a snapshot memory of this feeling in our hearts so that we strive for this continued relationship with You well beyond these 21 days. Please remove obstacles, temptations, and distractions as we rest in Your shadow and find refuge under your wings

Protective Father, please enlighten our souls with fresh understanding of Your Words…

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” (1 John 3:1a)

“The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in His love He will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” (Zephaniah 3:17)

We offer all of these requests Father as Your beloved children in the name of Your precious Son Jesus. Amen
